The DENR Region 9 – PENRO Zamboanga del Sur conducted site visitation on selected NGP/ENGP
plantations within the PENRO’s jurisdiction on April 19 to 28, 2023.
The activity was spearheaded by OIC, PENR Officer Forester Diomides M. Pablo together with the
PENRO ENGP Coordinator Forester Romel A. Candido, CENR Officer of Guipos Forester Felipe H.
Callorina, CENRO Ramon Magsaysay ENGP Coordinator Forester Leanard S. Lagnason, CENRO
Guipos ENGP Coordinator Forester Joselito M. Bagundol, PENRO and CENRO ENGP Staff and
People’s Organizations representatives.
The following are the NGP/ENGP Plantations visited by the DENR-IX PENRO ZDS Key Officials:
Lumponid Upland Development Farmers Association (Established 2021), San Juan Farmers Association
(Established 2020), Datu-tutukan Farmers Association (Established 2020), Sikatuna Rural Development
Association (Established 2014), and Barangay Council of Katipunan (Established 2011).
