To establish a user-friendly tool for data consolidation, management, storage, presentation, and retrieval of relevant data for the implementation of the National Greening Program (NGP), the FMB is currently conducting a consultation workshop for the development of Reforestation Information and Management System (RIMS) where participants engage in discussions on various aspects of the proposed system’s development and implementation.
This technological advancement promises increased efficiency in data handling and related activities for FMB and other implementing offices. Participants are expected to provide valuable insights into the types of data to consider, data management methods, and other inputs related to system requirements and potential challenges. The outcomes of this workshop will be presented in a subsequent workshop held for regional and field offices for further deliberation.
