WORKSHOP FOR REFORESTATION INFORMATION AND MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (RIMS)

The second batch of the consultation workshop for RIMS development is currently being conducted by the Forest Management Bureau (FMB) at Whiterock Beach Hotel in Subic, Zambales. The activity aims to further gather inputs and recommendations to improve the RIMS, this time with DENR Regional Offices and selected PENRO personnel as participants. The results of the first batch of consultation workshop will be presented for further deliberation.
Participants are expected to provide additional valuable insights into the types of data to consider, data management methods, and other inputs related to system requirements and potential challenges in the development of RIMS.
The consultation workshop will be held until October 6, 2023.
