The Forest Management Bureau spearheaded the conduct of the National Consultation Workshop for the Formulation of Omnibus Policy on the Implementation of Enhanced Greening Program (ENGP) held at St. Giles Makati Hotel. It was participated by the representatives from DENR Regional and field offices, Policy and Planning Service (PPS), Finance Management Service (FMS), Foreign-Assisted Special Projects Service (FASPS), and Ecosystems Research and Development Bureau (ERDB).
This consultation workshop aims to improve the Department’s existing policies related to the implementation of Enhanced National Greening Program (ENGP). This encompasses various aspects in the implementation of ENGP, including technical, operational, financial, monitoring and evaluation, and human resource considerations of the Program. The main objective is to come up with an omnibus policy that will guide DENR’s field offices in all the stages of plantation development, and that is aligned with prevailing laws, directives, and established rules and regulations.
The workshop was conducted from November 28, 2023 until December 01, 2023.
